New Blog Address

Hi, folks,

Due to the ongoing fuckwittery of our NWO governments and Google's willing cooperation with their totalitarian censorship attempts, you can now find the new place HERE.

I've also had to completely redo my blogroll for some reason so if I've left anyone out who used to be on there, please let me know and I'll fix it for you.

Hope to see you over there.

+++UPDATE+++

Ah, it now looks like the automatic redirection to the new place has kicked in.

Google gets worse by the minute!
Glad to see you have a great site, with your very own dot com!
All the best, Bunnikins!

Hi, Bunnikins, thanks for that and thanks for stopping by - unlike blogspot.co.uk/ comments from my American friends aren't censored here and are visible to everyone. ;-)

That was magic Spidey. I clicked on your old address and here I am ... Cool Dude. I'll change everything at my end to reflect the change. Great domain you've got there.

Oh, new comment service too. I think you'll like these guys much better.

How can I do that, Spidey?

All fixed and ready to go.  Hope you're doing well, Spidey!

Spidey, LIke you, Odie, are geniuses w/ computer blog stuff.
I know he'll like this comment thingy MUCH better, I sure do.

I'll email you the details a bit later tonight after I've had dinner, OR, I was out all day yesterday or I'd already have done it, mate. It's all done via a proxy so if the bastards look up your domain, they can see all the usual details but they can not see who owns it, keeping your anonymity intact. ;-)

Hi, TCL, thanks for doing that for me. All is well here now that I've got my site up and running but the last week has been a nightmare because of this undemocratic snoopers'-charter shit.

Ah, well, where there's a will there's usually a way. ;-)

Thanks, Odie, much appreciated, mate - and I love this new comment service. I joined Disqus ages ago to be able to comment at the Daily Telegraph but it's improved so much since the time I originally installed JS-Kit and so many other bloggers are now using it, (the only thing you can't do with it is the emoticons and I won't really miss them much at all), that it made complete sense to instal it - and as JS-Kit, (the bloggers' version that I was using), will be history after 31st October anyway, (they announced that last week), I decided to get it all over and done with now. Not only that, mate, Disqus, in the comments I've looked at so far, seems to have been able to assign the correct names to comments rather than "Sheriff", (that's Igor at JS-Kit), so it's been a great move in every way - and, of course, it's free rather that the $10 a month I was paying for JS-Kit. ;-)

Thanks, Bunnikins, I do like this comment thingy so much better - it also appears on the website much faster than JS-Kit did. ;-)

Totally confused, mate! Clicked on the new address link - took me to your new dot com address but no blogroll at all?

Sure it's just work in progress but best of luck with it anyway!!

Thanks for your tips, Spidie. I'm paying only about £10pa to get mine hosted on callingengland.net now so I hope that fixes things.  It's still on a blogger template though and I'm also having probs with the blogroll - have put out an SOS on twitter! Anything to save me trawling through hundreds of blog links in my favourites folder!  I deleted my YouTube a/c ages ago too - I don't like all this being linked business - it might make it easier for us but it also makes it easier for them.  Hmm, shall I take the blue pill or the red pill this morning? ;)

My pleasure, GV - that tip I left at your place doesn't half speed up the new blogroll setup - the only ones you might have to do manually will be the Wordpress blogs but it still cuts down the time you have to spend on it quite a lot. Just click on "Design" on you blog's navbar at the top of the page and then click on "Layout" - then click "Edit" on your blogroll gadget. Next, in the window that opens, click on "Add to List" and click "Blogs I'm Following" in the next window, (rather than adding the URLs manually) - tick the boxes of the blogs that you want to add to your blogroll and click "Save" when you've ticked all the boxes you want.

I think this explains it slightly better than I did at your place and it gets rid of the SOS situation for you.

Apart from the price, the fact that the blog keeps the Blogger template was the other thing I really wanted - this is how I really wanted it to look and I can't get it to look like this on Wordpress and, as I think I said to you before, Wordpress is more bother than it's worth for me.

Regarding the blue pill/red pill...... there are times when I wish that I hadn't woken up - it was so much easier being blissfully unaware - but then there are other times that I'm really glad that I now know exactly what the bastards are doing!

I'm too old and too thick to understand all this tech stuff Spidey - if it runs on diesel or gunpowder I'm fine ... still, the new site looks a good 'un. Good move :-)

Happy Easter, Spidey.  I hope you have a lovely, relaxing day.
BTW, I'm nicking your photo up top there.  You gotta read this!
Of course they fired the guy for TELLING THE TRUTH.

Sad times we live in, people can't tell the truth or state the facts, oh well, I'll just have a nice day with Kitteh!

Barking Spider said...

Thanks, Caractacus - and I promise you that you're neither too old nor too thick to do the same thing if you want to - I've never done it before either and once I'd sorted out my domain name and the email account to go along with it, they did everything else over the course of a few days - totally painless, mate.

Barking Spider said...

Thanks, Bunnikins, and the same to you. :-)

Good grief, I had a look at that website - you couldn't make it up!

Just help yourself to pics any time you like - I've probably nicked most of them myself at some stage - and thanks for the one of gorgeous little Kittekins - I've already saved it to her personal piccy folder. ;-)

How are things?  Time for a fun post!  I put one up just now, I think Kittehkins could of starred in.  Alas, I am to busy at present to have produced and directed it.
Oh well, here's what my doggie (past) has to say about obumF*ck

Barking Spider said...

No worries, mate - as you can see from the date of this blogpost, I've been a little distracted, too, recently.

Barking Spider said...

Sorry, Bunni, somehow I completely missed your comment until now - what a cute little doggie. ;-)

Hi Spidey, I hope you are staying clear of the leftie goons on your side of the pond. Best wishes for a Conservative Summer for all. (fantasy, I know, but a girl can dream, right?)

Barking Spider said...

Hi, Opie, thanks for dropping by - as you can see, I've been taking it easy on the blogging front for a while.

Here's hoping you get rid of the commie dictator in November before he can do any more damage - hopefully it will be a landslide even with the usual Lefty vote-rigging tactics.I'm absolutely positive, though, that Romney is just another NWO RINO - even so, it's doubtful that he could be any worse that the specimen currently in the White House.

Amusing Bunni said...

Hi Spidey! Where you been! Hopping by to say hello and see the new disqus, if we can post piccy's, maybe I'll switch at some point, but I'm still not sure I like it all that much, maybe it will grow on me. I can't see where to post a piccy?

I hope you are feeling fine, and stay away from lefty twats!
Kitteh says meows.

That was my JRT Lucy, I had her some years ago. She was a darling, but very naughty! Kittehkins is an angel compared to Lucy.
