Blair's Memoirs - Self-Serving Lies To Salve His Conscience

Tony Blair was facing a furious backlash last night after sensationally claiming that he is seeking redemption for his decision to go to war in Iraq. The former Prime Minister uses his memoirs – published today – to confess his daily torment over the “nightmare” conflict and make his strongest expression of sorrow and remorse but he angered relatives of soldiers who lost their lives in Iraq by once again stopping short of apologising for the botched decision to join the 2003 invasion.

“I can’t say sorry in words; I can only hope to redeem something from the tragedy of death, in the actions of a life, my life, that continues still,” he says in the book.

Last night critics branded him a “hypocrite” for claiming to be seeking redemption while making millions in his new life after leaving Downing Street and senior Labour figures were also braced for the party’s leadership feuding to intensify after Blair delivers his verdict on Gordon Brown’s disastrous premiership.

Blair describes his successor as “difficult, at times maddening” and a “standard bearer for dissent” who resisted many Government reforms and put “relentless personal pressure” on his rival. He reveals that he continually agonised over his desire to sack Brown as Chancellor, but confesses that he ducked out because his bitter rival was “head and shoulders above the others” compared to rival Labour Cabinet ministers.

What a self-serving hypocritical bastard he is - and every bit as delusional as the cunt, Brownfinger! No-one is ever going to forgive him for what he has done and the sooner he realises that the better. He shamelessly sucked up to George Bush to put himself in a position to earn a fucking fortune when he left Downing Street - nothing more, nothing less!

The only thing that would at least go some way towards alleviating the pain of the grieving relatives of our armed forces whose sons, husbands and fathers have laid down their lives so that Blair and his wife, the Blair Witch, could fill their boots and their bank account(s), is if we were ever  to elect a government with any balls or conscience at all, that Blair would be forced to face a war crimes trial in the Hague and end up languishing in prison for a very long time - and, of course, his and Slot-Gob's ill-gotten gains would also be seized by the court and divided equally among all those who lost their loved ones!

THE POST - BROWN CLEARUP BEGINS

CAMERON BLASTS BROWN'S "CRAZY" LAST-DITCH SPENDING

DAVID Cameron yesterday accused his Labour predecessors of going on a “crazy” last-ditch spending binge that has saddled his Government with billions in unexpected extra debt.

David Cameron said the new Conservative Lib Dem coalition with Nick Clegg had uncovered a string of “bad decisions” made in recent months as the General Election loomed that have left the public finances in even worse shape than forecast.

Among the extravagant last gestures of the fading Gordon Brown regime was a bonus bonanza for fat cat civil service bosses, he revealed. And in an attempt to assess the extent of the damage, Chancellor George Osborne will today launch an independent probe into the true state of the public finances.

Senior Tories have long feared that Mr Brown was carrying out a “scorched earth policy” designed to lay waste to the public finances, leaving a mess for his successors.

FULL STORY IN THE DAILY EXPRESS

BERCOW MUST GO SAY TORIES

COMMONS Speaker John Bercow is likely to face an embarrassing challenge to his re-election hopes tomorrow. Some Tory MPs are plotting to unseat the Speaker, upsetting the tradition of a returned Commons backing the incumbent.

One Tory backbencher yesterday called for Mr Bercow to be replaced because Westminster needed to be “swept with a new broom”. Mid Bedfordshire MP Nadine Dorries said he had failed to uphold the “great tradition of authority, control and impartiality”. Her outburst reflected continuing resentment among some Tories at the Speaker’s past close links with Labour. His wife Sally Bercow failed to become a Labour councillor in recent local elections.

No surprise that Brownfinger pursued a Scorched Earth Policy in the final days of his corrupt and despicable tenure, we had all expected it for some time but the scale of his crimes will be staggering when they have all been uncovered.

The outrageous sums of money he spent show absolutely no regard for this Country or the British people - as usual, it was all about him and his sabotage of the current administration. I'm absolutely  positive that the signed-off contracts which  have been discovered so far merely represent the tip of the iceberg of debt he has hidden away in his dodgy accounting.

The man, and I use the word grudgingly, was inherently evil, hiding behind his religious background and his non-existent "moral compass" while screwing us all as hard as he could and if there is any justice at all in the world, I hope he dies slowly, in pain, extreme anguish and torment, locked up in a secure mental institution where he belongs..... actually, he belongs at the end of a rope for his acts of treason..... but that would be far too quick for the bastard!

As for our Labour-supporting, turncoat "Tory", Squeaker Bercow, the result of yet another Brown stitch-up, I can hardly wait until tomorrow to see if the tiny twat gets the unceremonious sacking he so richly deserves.

LEO McKINSTRY NAILS McFUCKNUTS & LABOUR

OUR PM HAS LOST THE PLOT - AND THE AUTHORITY TO RULE

LABOUR is staring into the abyss. This Thursday it now seems likely that Gordon Brown will suffer the heaviest defeat ever inflicted on a British Prime Minister.

According to several of the latest polls, fewer than a quarter of voters back Labour, far behind the Tories and the Liberal Democrats. Never before in the history of Britain has a governing party slid into third place. But a crushing defeat would be no more than Labour deserves. After 13 years of the party’s mismanagement, lies, corruption, dogmatism and bullying, there would be a tremendous sense of justice in a mass expression of revenge by the British people against their arrogant socialist rulers.

Labour’s wretched election campaign has been entirely in keeping with their style of governance. All the worst characteristics of the party’s rule have been reflected in its dismal political operation over recent weeks. Mixing authoritarianism with childish propaganda, scaremongering with deceit, Labour has been both relentlessly negative and  spectacularly incompetent.

It was not meant to be this way. Before the campaign started, Labour loudly boasted of the sophistication of its election machine. In Peter Mandelson and Alastair Campbell, the party was meant to have two of the great political geniuses of modern times. In practice, however, Labour’s campaign has proved as hopelessly dysfunctional as Brown’s own Cabinet. Mandelson and Campbell have behaved like embarrassing bunglers presiding over amateur night at the end of Southend Pier.

Weighed down by unprecedented unpopularity, Brown himself has proved a catastrophic figurehead, “pure poison on the doorstep”, in the words of one Labour activist. His sullen, broken appearance on the campaign trail has been like that of a political prisoner, shuffling from one safe house to another to avoid contact with the public.

The one occasion that Brown was allowed out to meet real voters ended, all too predictably, in disaster. The fall-out from his encounter with Rochdale pensioner and lifetime Labour supporter Gillian Duffy has been so explosive because it encapsulates everything that is repellent about both the Government and Brown’s own character. In his private condemnation of Mrs Duffy as “a bigoted woman”, we can clearly see Labour’s snobbish contempt for the ordinary, decent, hard-working people of Britain. When Mrs Duffy was told by a TV crew of Brown’s offensive comment, she could not believe it. Her jaw literally dropped. Her look of bewilderment at the cruel betrayal symbolised how working-class voters, the backbone of Britain, have been let down by Labour. “The thing is, I’m the sort of person he was meant to look after, not shoot down,” she said yesterday.

Those words should serve as an epitaph for Brown’s destructive premiership. Brown’s outburst epitomised the view of the trendy, metropolitan elite, whereby any opposition to uncontrolled immigration is seen as nothing more than racist bigotry. But, insulated by wealth and privilege, the socialist elite do not have to live with the consequences of their policies. While they blather about the joys of diversity and cheap nannies, the likes of Mrs Duffy have to cope with overstretched public services, rising crime and a breakdown in social cohesion. The incident was also deeply revealing of Brown’s own unedifying personality. He was exposed as an arch hypocrite: phoney smiles to her face; foul, misogynistic insults behind her back.

His epic self-pity in the aftermath was embarrassing. His supposed “mortification” was because of the damage he had done to Labour’s  campaign, not the offence he had caused to Mrs Duffy. But this has been the pattern throughout Labour’s campaign and Brown’s premiership. The party that physically drags hecklers out of election meetings is the same illiberal outfit that tramples on our freedoms, introducing identity cards, employing armies of official snoopers and placing spy cameras in our wheelie bins.

Labour’s resort to childish  election propaganda, using primary-school-type posters scrawled with messages such as “Don’t Forget to Vote Labour, Mum”, is in keeping with a Government that has tried to infantalise the entire public with lavish welfare benefits and an all-powerful state.

Labour's gross dishonesty in the campaign, especially its refusal to be straight about the ruin of public finances, mirrors the Government’s addiction to lies and spin, whether it be over the Iraq war or crime statistics. This is the Prime Minister who promised “an end to boom and bust” and “British jobs for British workers”.

As the final days of his premiership approach, he no longer deserves a hearing. Even in the television debates, Brown was misery personified, spouting off his distortions and Soviet-style statistics. The contrast with David Cameron was graphic. After a low-key start to his campaign, the Tory leader has peaked at just the right time. Despite the dire state of Britain’s economy, Cameron has exuded optimism and a sense of purpose. Unlike Brown’s shambolic effort, his campaign has a central theme, that of reducing the role of the state and restoring personal responsibility. Our country is crying out for a fresh start – and Cameron has shown he can provide it.

LABOUR'S "LAST SUPPER" MOMENT

A screech of brakes, a loud crash, a sign from above, perhaps, that they are all doomed..... this picture says it all.....

And it just keeps getting better...... the Lib Dumb "surge" now appears to have all the characteristics of a dead cat bounce.

NEW POLL PUTS TORIES WELL AHEAD

On the eve of tonight’s first ever leaders’ television debate, the most comprehensive survey of swing seats since the campaign began showed David Cameron comfortably ahead. The poll by Crosby/Textor was carried out in 100 marginal seats; 80 held by Labour and 20 by the Liberal Democrats.

43% of voters questioned said they would vote
Conservative, 31% Labour and 20% Lib Dem.

Labour have dropped five points since the 2005 election in these seats, while the Tories have gained seven points, the poll showed. The results suggest the Conservatives are much more likely to achieve an outright majority at the election than previously thought.

One recent poll indicated that the Tory lead had narrowed to just three points, making a hung parliament the most likely result. However, it is in the marginal constituencies - where pollsters believe the election will be won or lost - that the Conservatives have concentrated most of their efforts.  This latest poll appears to suggest that the strategy - masterminded by Lord Ashcroft - is paying off.

The new poll also predicts that turnout in the marginals is likely to be better than many have predicted with 65 per cent of those questioned saying they would definitely vote. A high turnout is likely to favour the Conservatives who need to win 117 seats from other parties to secure an overall majority. The party needs a national swing of almost seven per cent to achieve this.

As part of the unique poll for the Telegraph, Crosby/Textor told voters who their candidates are before asking them who they would vote for. This gives a more accurate result because in marginal seats voters are more likely to be loyal to individual MPs than parties. The poll found that the Tories would pick up 74 of the 100 seats from Labour. However, they would not pick up any of the seats held by Liberal Democrats.

Despite fears that public distrust of MPs could result in a low turnout, the poll also indicates that many more may vote than in the two previous elections. In addition to the 65 per cent of those polled who said they were certain to vote, another eight per cent they were likely to. That means voter turnout could top 70 per cent, the highest turnout since 1997.

The survey was carried out over four days to yesterday, taking in the launches of the two main party manifestos.

So finally we get the truth - and that's just the key marginals - we're looking at a large majority for the Tories, no matter how much the Lefty MSM would like their beloved Labour communist cunts to win - so bye bye Brownarse, bye bye Balls, bye bye the whole fucking lot of you - get out - fuck the fuck off! CUNTS!!

AMERICA RISING - SO IS BRITAIN!

This video may be about the situation in America, but if you just substitute America for Britain and the lineup of their usual suspects for our own cavalcade of cunts, the sentiment remains the same and this is the year we get to tell them so!

I couldn't even be bothered to post anything about the so-called "coup" to oust McFuckwit as it was, as usual, an inept, half-arsed, botched and gutless attempt which achieved absolutely fuck all - again - only this time was even more fucking pathetic than the last!!!

"Piss-up" and "brewery" spring to mind as they always do where Labour is concerned - horse shit and cunts are more useful than this bunch of wankers - if Charles Clarke and the other two useless Hoons tried to shoot themselves, they would fucking miss!!!!

Come to think of it, a wank is more useful than this shower of nonentities!

I could carry on ranting for ages but I won't, (not good for the blood pressure), so enjoy the video which is very well-edited to a great piece of music for the job and I'll be back tomorrow when I've stopped screaming at the television and the newspapers.

Ah, that's better!  ;-)

L is for Labour, L is for Lies
