As Leg-Iron elucidates so well, The Gorgon's latest wheeze of disallowing all news from the Iraq and Afghan wars, will surely backfire on him.

No matter what the panel said, he did what he wanted and when they asked him to stick to a "yes or no" answer, he carried on saying what he had been saying anyway! CUNT!

BROWN AT THE IRAQ INQUIRY

And so Friday 5th March is Gordoom's appointed day to appear before the Iraq Inquiry, thanks only to the intense pressure heaped upon him to appear ahead of the General Election on 6th May.

It will be interesting to see if and how he tries to squirm, bluster and wriggle his way out of taking any responsibility at all for the decision to invade Iraq.

I must say, that given his record for such duplicity, I fully expect him to lie his head off tomorrow and to get away with it, as all of Labour's "independent" inquiries to date have been nothing but cover-ups, whitewash and bullshit, with every single one of them stinking to high heaven and beyond.....peee-eeeww!

Now then, I wonder what story McFuckwit will try to tell them........hmmm?

 

Chilcot has already allowed Tony B. Liar to grandstand and talk bollocks at this inquiry, which was shameful behaviour after the way the rest of the panel had managed to keep Blair boxed into a corner and made him answer only the questions they had actually asked him - every time he strayed from the point, they shut him down, but not Chilcot, who is clearly one of Labour's obedient servants and is in the process of mixing up another bucket of whitewash and bullshit to spread liberally over his findings and so keep his masters happy.

Still, it should be good for a laugh - I do hope he loses his temper with the panel when the pills wear off - now that would be fucking hilarious!

Could Belgian prime minister who wants EU-wide tax be even worse than Tony Blair as European president?

Tony Blair's bid for the presidency of Europe was gaining fresh momentum last night after his chief rival for the job called for the introduction of new EU taxes. One British source said the former Prime Minister now had the support of up to a dozen of the EU's 27 leaders as the contest to fill the £270,000-a-year post enters its final stages.

Gordon Brown has launched a frantic round of phone calls in support of Mr Blair's bid. He will spend much of the next 24 hours on the phone to EU leaders pressing them to support the former Prime Minister.

Blair's prospects, which were thought to be fading, were boosted yesterday by the revelation that the frontrunner, Belgian prime minister Herman Van Rompuy, hopes to use the post to promote the introduction of EU-wide taxes a move which would be unpopular with many national governments. (No fucking shit!)

Swedish prime minister, Fredrik Reinfeldt, who is coordinating the selection process, indicated yesterday that he wanted a deal stitched up before EU leaders meet to choose the new president at a summit in Brussels tomorrow. But British diplomatic sources indicated last night that they expected the contest to be a close one and Swedish officials conceded yesterday that the summit could overrun into the weekend. Centre-right leaders, who dominate the EU, have been unable to agree on a candidate, leaving open the possibility that Blair could yet get the job.

Van Rompuy, 62, has emerged as the frontrunner but has been unable to cement his position. One British diplomat described him as 'everyone's second or third choice.' Yesterday it emerged that Van Rompuy, who is virtually unknown outside his own country, hopes to use the presidency to promote the introduction of EU-wide taxes.

He outlined his plans to a meeting of the secretive Bilderberg group in Brussels last week.

(I don't know about you, but that's got all my alarm bells ringing!)

According to the respected Belgian newspaper De Tijd, Van Rompuy told the meeting: ‘New resources will be necessary for the financing of the welfare state. Green tax instruments are a possibility, but they are ambiguous. This type of tax will eventually be extinguished, but the possibility of financial levies at European level must be seriously examined, and for the first time the large countries in the union are open to that.’ (Just try asking the people of those "large countries" about that and see what they have to say, you cunt!)

The idea of EU taxes has been mooted before and roundly rejected by Britain. But the suggestion that the new EU president might interfere in national taxation policy is likely to ring alarm bells not only in Britain but in more Euro-sceptic countries, such as Poland, Denmark and the Czech Republic.

Van Rompuy's party also called for national symbols to be 'replaced by European symbols' on everything from car number plates to ID cards.
